I will bring it ... it's sounds OK ... it is not very well balanced: the guitars aen't very clear, the voice is way too much in front, ... but it's a good thing we have it!
We did a very tight and energic gig ... 2 thumbs up!

That is obvious, as the Guitars are loud from the stage, so in a small location like this, they are not high up in the mix, and as the CD is recorded from the FOH mixer, it gives just a partial picture, with loads of voice and keyboards I suppose.

I should have tried the same as in Flemalle, put the Tascam there and record with the mics. As it's a smaller location and the distance from the mixer desk to the stage was much shorter than on the Fiesta, it could have worked.

You can sense that the cam recording would have been good, if the mic/limiter could have coped with the sound levels.

Maybe I can achieve something by mixing the CD sound and Cam sound if I can align them in phase (I would say there is a 20% chance that it makes it any better Surprised

).

Great!!! The sound is good enough I think. I've watched lot of live performance on youtube and it's often worst.

Yeah it's Ok on this one, but some other songs are just noise (when there is more bass content, e.g. at the last part of Riot when the low blubbering synth sequence comes in - the camcorder mic just collapses Laughing

)

Still it's good to have this as documentation also, for example when I watched the recording today, I concluded we could skip the last chorus of Riot, it has a lot of energy on the verse part just before and we could end the song on the bridge sequence before the chorus instead of after.

I'll post some more later, but exporting/compressing/uploading the video takes a lot of time.
